Victor Sinclair Series 55
I was sent one of these by a CF'er who bombed me last month. So after sitting in the Sherman since then, I decided to light it up last night at the EC3 herf.
It was I beleive, a double corona with a reddish-brown wrapper. Some very noticable veins, but still smooth overall. It cut cleanly and the draw was good. It lit well and the burn was very sharp and straight throughout the cigar. The volume of smoke was thin off the first puff, but then built by the third puff each time I herfed on it. Flavor was not complex at all, but it was still very good. Not what I was expecting from a VS of late. It was earthy with a slight twang that you get from a rosado wrapper. I don't know for sure if this thing HAD a rosado wrapper, but that was the flavor I got off it. Anyway, it was a pleasant overall experience. I'd smoke one again. |
