It's been over one month

It's been over one month since I smoked a cigar. Screw it, I'm gonna smoke one this afternoon. So what if my BP is still kind of high(142/100) it's not changing much so, I'm going to smoke. I am depriving myself of enjoyment and am getting real bitchy about it. I don't drink anymore. I don't eat things I like such as chocolate or potato chips. I eat good food. So why not smoke a cigar? Good God, last night I had pork and cabbage for supper! Good Lord, I know my wife means well, but...

Just do it!

Understand about the BP, but cigars in moderation should be OK!

Conrad, we all know a delicious, relaxing cigar may well do more for your BP than all this self-denial. It's why many doctors smoke cigars.

The most relaxing time of my day is when I'm in my man cave enjoying a cigar and listening to Fox News.

Enjoy the cigar but PLEASE contact your physician to continue to work on the BP... the Diastolic at 100 or over is not good, and there is a lot that can be done to lower it.

Relaxing while listening to Fox News? You have thicker skin than I!

I've been retired now for 10 years and I've calmed down a bit, but when I need to I can still dish it out.
