Lost and Found

Buried in the back of the walk-in, under a few cases of pipe tobacco, I found some booty.

A large tupperware storage container full of Consuegras purchased in 2000-02 in various sizes. Also a half dozen bundles of the Vill/Hat 2nds from May 01 and some bundles of Villazon fumas in wrappers so yellowed they look like pumpkins. Probably 20 bundles in all.

A bankers box full of old General and Villazon product including 3 of the boxes of 50 Punch Rare Corojo robustos from 2001 and a bunch of Peruvan Montes from the same era.

A bankers box that holds a full chest of the 75th Estelo assortment and a crap ton of Counterfeit Cubans along with Mantequilla Tapa Negras, ERDM Cafe Au Laits and JR Ultimates in the old style cabs.

A bankers box with, get this, a bunch of assorted boxes including Greycliff Yellow, original CAO Cameroons, NATSA samplers, Pleiades, Flor de Orlando small perfectos (by Fuente) and 2 half boxes of Esperanza Para los Ninos in robusto and torp.

Ha.

Hahahaha.

Now how awesome is that?! I can't wait to hear how they are smoking. Many domestics don't seem to age that well but with the line up you listed I'd bet there are some gems. 👍🏼

Grail cigars. A box of Miami made maduro Wavell I bought at the factory in 99 and a matching box of natural from the following year. (I wish there were some El Rico Habanos too.) A box of Monte Afrique 444 (WTGTG) cigars. The Montecruz maduro book edition. Punch Grand Cru and Flor de Llaneza samplers - all intact.

I tried a Casa de Nicaragua from a partial box that was a rough imitation of a Padron 14 years ago - it's turned into a really smooth and enjoyable cigar.

As near as I can tell, these cigars were in the back of the walk-in in Oregon and just got put in cartons for the move. They've been untouched in the back of the walk-in here since 2008.

I'll let you guys know when I find the La Nubias.

Yahtzee! In a small ziploc I found a few of the ERH from '96-97 before the unfortunate re-blending that sapped their strength. Had 1 last night and it was sublime.

BTW, the new humidor is working out great. I don't think I could get a sheet of notebook paper to fit in, it's so crammed, but the humidity controller I bought on Amazon has the small humidifier holding within a percent.

That Punch Rare Corojo was one of my first box purchases after having tried one. Those are long gone.
