Hey guys!!! With the new law in place, there are very few places to herf. I found a great spot, though it may be too far to travel for some of you. The Redwood Lodge Brewery near Flint offers a fine dining room, a well stocked bar (and their own brews are worth the many awards they have won) and, yes, a CIGAR BAR! Yes, we can have a real indoor herf at the Redwood. If any of you are interested, please help me set up a herf. Just type in: Redwood Lodge 5304 Gateway Ctr, Flint, MI 48507-3930 at mapquest and you'll see where it's at.

I was in Michigan for a herf another board hosted. We went to this cigar bar/restaurant. We enjoyed great food and great brews. After dinner we retired to the cigar lounge. I was very impressed with the whole experience.

Yes, we can bring our own stogies. They do sell some cigars though. Some are very high end, others are not. Beautiful place, too. Saturday sounds good! My daughter is due to have my first grandchild any hour now but if she's holding on I'll definitely be there!!!

I'll see if I can swing this. I have another herf I was thinking of going to over in Metamora, which isn't too far away from Flint...hey, they don't call me HerfManiac for nothing.

Well guys, I owe you all an apology. I did not keep up on current events and the Sequoia Room at Redwood lost their cigar bar status by falling below 10% cigar sales. We were not able to smoke our stogies there but we had a great lunch in the inn. Let's keep looking for a spot to sit together and herf.
