cooking fabadas asturian right now, that will be tomorrow (its big white beans from Spain with pork, chorizo and morcilla). Pork chops and mashed potatoes and sald for lunch today. Dinner tonight will be something in the city, going to see the CSO.

Nothing major.... polish sausage with pepper and onions, and colcannon...

Both are super easy and nice on a cold night.

last night I did restaurant... salt cod croquettes and spaghetti with lobster and a sauce Americaine were what I ordered. Chef sent out proscu=iutto (with the lardo on it) and toast and truffle butter and olives... lord that was good... then he sent out roast lamb loin with a goat cheese... also delicious.

Big sale on pork loin today, so there's going to be a lot of that on the menu this week. J is going to be home, so quantity matters.

last night was fried ham slices, eggs over easy and hash browns with onions and cheddar

tonight was a greasy panini from the grocery near my parents house, which is what they wanted

Boneless, skinless chicken thighs marinated in strawberry-fig balsamic and a touch of sesame oil, seasoned with Himalayan salt, cracked pepper, ginger and garlic, and crusted with panko. Boiled small potatoes seasoned with olive oil and thyme. Carrots and green beans. A bottle of Nieto Malbec/Petit Verdot from Argentina.
