Undercrown Sungrown Corona

Nice wrapper with a couple of veins, great spicy aromas from the wrapper and foot. Perfect draw. Today’s beverage is a Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA.

Peppery from the start, the cigar has plenty of smoke and an even burn. Notes of cedar and pepper at the start. The hoppiness of the ale cpmplents the flavors of the cigar well.

The pepper muted a bit by the first third leaving a nice cedar finish. The burn ran some but is self correcting.

During the second third a mix of spices join the cedar and bring back the pepper notes. A light nuttiness adds to the complexity of flavors. This is a very well constructed cigar.

A well balanced cigar that’s mostly medium bodied. Approaching the final inch the smoke warmed up a bit but not unpleasantly so. A very light note of apple appeared towards the end.

A very pleasant smoke overall with good complexity, this one earns 8.75/10. Joe Bob says check it out.

Been wanting to try them, El Jefe, so thanks for the review. And in a good size, too!

I’ve been curious about these as I do like the regular Undercrown line. Thanks for the excellent review Jeff!
