El Güegüense

I have read great reviews about the El Güegüense - bought a 5 pack of Torps probably tried about 3 so far.

It does not work for me. I saw it was cigar of the year on blind puff and after trying one I thought there had to be payola involved. Then I searched other reviews and all were glowing

have you tried the El Güegüense ??? Curious to what you think.

Definitely not a rocket but definitely not stellar either

I hate when that happens

Tried a 5-pack of the corona, not a bad cigar, just not much going on with it. Pretty much straightforward mellow tobacco from start to finish. Between this one and the Sobremesa, which was very similar, I was really hoping for greatness, not so much.

I didn't realize they had umlauts in Spanish.

The following link provides an explanation...

FWIW I have smoked these, kind of expected more. Not bad, just not the 'oh my word' experience I was expecting from the marketing. Pretty sure the umlauts screwed up my taste experience.

That can be surgically removed.

Wait! Umlauts? I thought you meant uvula. My bad.

I refuse to smoke a cigar whose name I can't utter in mixed company.

one of my German profs at PU said German humor is pronouncing umlaut like it has umlauts. No wonder they lost the war.
