Edgar Hoill Everday Hustle 448
This 4 x 48 Honduran Puro is medium brown, firm to the touch and has no soft spots. Both on initial sniff test and cold draw was a dominating anise or licorice smell. Upon lighting that smell has gone away replaced by charred wood and cinnamon. Smoke output is fair and coats the palate well. At about the halfway point construction is still ok, burn a little wonky, but no touch ups needed. Medium to full bodied. I am getting hints of cedar that linger for a bit after each puff. This stogie does not have the "funk" that I usually get from most Honduran (Altadis ) cigars. Almost done, leaves my mouth a little dry but not annoying. Picked these up for $2 each and for a quick winter fix are well worth it.
