Right after you finish using it, you can run a pipe cleaner through it. I've even left a pipe cleaner in it to absorb the excess moisture quicker.
Never pull the stem out while hot...you can crack the shank. Thoroughly clean weekly or monthly (depending on your usage) with spirits and pipe cleaners. I clean mine really good about once a month. Although I probably should do it more often for a nice clean sweet pipe. |
