OK. I'm a "newbie" to the forum, but I've smoked cigars for a few yrs. I also have a small selection of what many consider the finest sticks available in the humi.
I just got a sampler of Drew Estates naturals. Not bad stuff. i'm smoking a Elixar 5-50 right now. Good cigar. nice long over 1 1/2 inch grey ash. The flavor is great but complex. Nice smoke. Slight uneven burn at mid point. This one's gonna be a finger burner. Construction is very good nice wrapper, may be rosado. No after taste. Last night i smoked a "Twig". What an ugly little bastard. kinda like a long poorly rolled joint, in fact it was so good i smoked it down to a "roach" had to use a clip to hold it. Being so thin the draw was a bit hard and sometimes burned very hot. But the flavor was great. creamy chocolate nut then left a vanilla aftertaste. I'm gonna order a hundred of these little buggers so I always have one for a quick smoke. Biker |
