A Particularly Fine Cigar Week
The week just ended, and the weather was not good for smoking outside. I did manage to smoke 2 extremely good cigars while driving though.
Monday I burned a Davidoff Anniversay #3 - as usual with Davidoff the construction was perfect, it held up to the very end, which was burning hairs out of the nose and mustache. Flavors simialr to the Special and Double R, but strength a notch higher, and the flavors a bit broader. Just a spectacular cigar on a very nasty night of travel via HErtz. Friday I found an old box from J J Fox - I visited London about 8 years ago and picked up a 3 pack. I cannot remember what the cigars were - dark robustos with a gold J J Fox band. This cigar was dried a bit, and lit and burned very easily. And it just may have been the finest cigar I've ever smoked. Flavors were subtle but absolutely delicious, and mouth coating. I'd have gladly smoked another of these but sadly it was the last of the 3 pack. I've checked Fox's website and don't see anything packaged like this. My guess this was a RASS, but I'm not certain. Hope you've all had a great week.
