I would be a little apprehensive in smoking a fake not knowing if there are "additives" in there other than tobacco.

Real Habanos are rolled on the thighs of young Cuban virgins.
Fakes are rolled on the wrinkled taints of old Mexican whores. So how was it really, gumby?

This. Depending on the source, maybe you were lucky and just got some local non-Cuban stick like a Te-Amos seconds. On the other hand it could be from the flow sweepings of who knows what factory or cigar store. The real risk is the very good chance of them being contaminated with tobacco beetles and their eggs. I would be VERY careful about adding suspect sticks to my collection without going through quarantine and cold storage.

Good advice.
