It was last Holloween that a new box was cracked. While not a total waste, the initial try revealed very muted flavors of this new EL. Exactly one year later, these are beginning to show some very good signs. The predominant word to describe them now would be "edgy". Muted flavors have turned to sharp twangs on the palate with a remarkably good aftertaste. This cigar seems to be following the path of its sister, the Robusto EL, perhaps at an accelerated rate. If you have not tried one from your box, you may want to search for it. By next Holloween, or the one after, we may have a scary good classic.
