I have found another gateway to Single Malt Nirvana...
  Jazznut, I went home and picked up the Tumbler's Guide last night after having a couple of drams of this whisky...I find your nosing/tasting description of this fine Highland nectar to be frighteningly similar (although yours are certainly more elegantly stated) to my own impression. Seems like we may share some tastebud genes!   Slainte!
