Brick House Mighty Mighty Maduro
Brick House Mighty Mighty Maduro
Nice deep brownish colored and veined wrapper. The band is basic Brick House plain top wrapper followed with a second band with just Maduro written on it. Cold draw was earthy, woodsy and spice. 1st third had peppery profile with some coffee notes the retro-hale was spicy but not a hot pepper, lots of blueish smoke and a great holding ash that was a nice grayish white color. 2nd third still spicy pepper with more coffee, earthy, and woody profiles coming into the mix. Dead on burn still a solid ash with the retro-hale still peppery and again not overly pepper but a spicy pepper. Final 3rd ash is a strong I have to literately knock it off, flavors are holding the same as the 2nd third with a little more coffee, chocolate and spice flavor profiles coming through. Still a cool draw for such a big ring. The libations was 4 cups of coffee I'm not really a big ring type of smoker. I felt like the strength was medium to medium full I really thought it would be a full strength cigar due to the dark coffee color of the wrapper. I guess you don't judge a book by it's color theory. I would defiantly smoke this cigar again even though I'm not a 60 gauge type of smoker.
