At one time Bulleit was sourcing its bourbon from Four Roses

interesting list of MGP/LDI/MGPI mash bills and a little bit on who they make whiskey for

http://bourbonr.com/blog/mgpldi-mash-bill/

I don't know how current that is, High West I think is distilling now, not sure if any of what they've done is old enough to be sold

High West gets a lot, if not all, of their whiskey from MPG/LDI but they are up front about it on their website and in the details of their products. They don't hide behind fictitious stories like 99% of the rest.

I met Dave Perkins early in his HW venture. Nice guy. Jim Rutledge Master Distiller of Four Roses was the one who told Dave to start with MPG products while he started and waited on his own distilling.

Dave did quite well to the tune of 160 mil when he sold High West to Constellation Brands. Not bad for a chemist from Atlanta who took a chance in the whiskey biz

Bulleit in the 'spotlight'

Another excellent bourbon from MPG is Smooth Ambler Old Scout. SA is also up front about their use of MPG whiskey while they are starting their distilling on site
