Martin Gastanaga, one of the WAC&SG members who stuck by us to the last was tragically killed in a bike collision near Lake Tahoe Saturday.

Martin was a shaping member of CW and his firm, 12 Horses, oversaw the re-do of CW that led to the magazine, the forums as they stand, and was a passionate member to the end. We could not be where we are today without his help, input, and hard work on behalf of CW. A true believer in the power of this community.

I send our sincere condolences to his widow, Claudia Ellis and the rest of his family on behalf of all of us at CW. Martin, we hardly knew ye, and we share your grief in his loss.

Martin and I shared a lot of correspondence over the years. I never met him in person, but I have always considered him to be a friend not only to me, but to CW.

Please feel free to share your memories of him. Rest in Peace, Martin. You were one of the good.
