6 x 54 Toro
Wrapper: Pennsylvania Broadleaf Maduro
Binder: San Andreas
Filler: Pennsylvanian with double ligero from Condega & Esteli

Mostly smooth wrapper with one or two veins, sweet maduro aroma from the wrapper and interesting toasted nut notes from the foot. The clip yielded a perfect draw with subtle cocoa flavors.

The initial draw produced mildly sweet medium flavors with a full body. The burn is perfect so far and the ash is not flaky, and getting into the body of the cigar some complexity begins to develop.

The aforementioned sweetness has developed into a pleasant bittersweet flavor. Plentiful smoke adds to the enjoyment. The ash remains solid but I will tap it at one inch to avoid getting a lap full.

Although there are no coffee notes in the cigar, the coffee porter is an excellent match. The slow burn of the cigar is most pleasant and keeps it nice and cool.

At the first third a bit of pepper develops in the throat, adding to the complexity of the cigar. It is a good mix of black and white pepper that is very pleasant.

A very pleasant creaminess is also prevalent in this cigar, making it all the more pleasing.

At 2/3 a bit of heat appears, but small purges and slowing down deals with this quite effectively. Some canoeing also develops but is easily corrected.

As with most cigars, I put it down at one inch because it became too hot to hold.

This is another winner from IPCPR16 and easily earns a solid 8.75/10. Joe Bob says check it out.
