Tobacos de la Cordillera, Artemisa 1944
I purchased one 5 pack each from TdlC in different sizes. I have been itching to try one of these for days. Paul, Carl and me smoked a corona Artemisa 1944 together at the Beer Sellar over a couple beers (the corona size comes in a 6 pack). Paul or Carl got the prize for the fastest smoker and I being the slowest. Mouth moves while talking, cigar does not get smoked.
I liked this cigar. The presentation is fantastic. Cigar and bands look beautiful as does the cigar. Smell was a little different. Prelight draw seemed a little tight thus I clipped another 1/16" off and it was a little better. After the light, the cigar was not tight one bit. I would have to say that in the medium body cigars that I have smoked, this would rate in the top 3. I will buy these again. I smoked it to past the band and then it was time to give it up. Mikey and Carroll get the two remaining to test. Tomorrow, we smoke the Torpedo Pinar del Rio which is the full body model. Can't wait.
