Small Production, Doubt You Will Ever Get to Try it, BUT...
...the Balcones Single Malt whiskey (made in Waco Texas of all places) is to die for. Not only has it won many awards, it is just silk on the tongue. Great malt and smoke balanced with a hint of honey.
I am just really fortunate that through my restaurant I am able to have a standing order for the occasional lone bottle that makes it into the system. Definitely a must try, and one of many examples of the exploding whiskey production here in Tejas. I really hope that you are able to try this one.
