Carlos Torano Exodus 1959

BRAND - Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 ( Box Pressed )

SIZE - Toro

WRAPPER TYPE - Nicaragua

TYPE CUTTER - Boston V Cutter

LIGHTER -LGC Soft Flame

BEVERAGE - Amarula

APPEARANCE - Box Pressed

CONSTRUCTION - Solid slightly toothy

FEEL - Excellent, no soft spots at all

TASTE - LIGHT UP - Barnyard scent that rivals some Cuban cigars

DRAW - Amazingly perfect with tons of smoke

EVEN BURN - Rock solid with only a couple of touch ups because of my OCD

TASTE 1ST THIRD - I liked this cigar from the “get go” and it gave me enough
complexity throughout the entire smoke. It started off with a cedar taste to it which
stayed throughout but would add pepper and what I would call a “Mexican vanilla”
taste that would come and go. Other nuances from this cigar was slight cinnamon
and a hint of coffee/cocoa taste. All of these tastes would swirl around throughout
the entire time.

2ND THIRD - Ditto above

LAST THIRD - Same taste and this cigar was so enjoyable that after I smoked it
I ordered a box of them…I am one not to order cigars by the box but this sucker
impressed me so much that it was a no brainer for me to order. Double Corona Size.

OVERALL CHARACTER - Medium

RATING 1- 20 This one gets a 18.5 STRENGTH 1- 10 Going to give it at least an 8.

COMMENTS - I enjoy a lot of cigars and pretty much skip around as far as what I like
to smoke and this one really impressed me so much that after smoking it I ordered a box
like I said earlier. If you want to get as close to a Cuban Cigar as possible grab yourself
one of these as the characteristics of this cigar is pretty close. This cigar was at least 8 months old as I date every cigar that comes in. I had to keep checking the band to ensure
I didn’t grab a CC…this is how good this stick is. They are priced around $5-$6 and you
just aren’t going to beat this…esp. for those of us who love complex cigars. Each draw
would give me tons of smoke that would just hang in the air and to say I nubbed this would be an understatement.

QUALITY - ISSUES - Excellent quality…no issues whatsoever.
POSITIVES- From the time to I put flame to this and down to the end was a great experience
