AVO Lounge
AVO Lounge
size: 7.5" by 50 ring wrapper: Ecuador Sungrown binder: ??? (think Dominican) filler: a blend of different Dominican tobaccos I received a box of these beautiful cigars from a friend who got a box signed by Avo for me. There are 20 cigars in the box and they retail for $16.00 each or $288.00 for a full box. For those that do not know there are two Avo Lounge locations, one in the USA at Corona in Orlando, FL. The other is in Swizerland, and was profiled in the last issue of European Cigar Cult Journal. These two locations are the only places that the cigar can be purchased. I broke one of these out with a Aberlour Abundah scotch. The cigar starts off medium bodied with a myraid of spice flavors, cedar, and straw / hay. Mid-way through the cigar the spice becomes pre-dominant and the stregnth picks up. The last third is salt and pepper (which is a taste I happen to enjoy) and the cigar became extremely full bodied. It was the most full bodied Avo that I have ever smoked, I was extremely and pleasantly surprised. I am going to take pictures soon and add a link, but they won't do these cigars justice. Presentation 5 (out of five) Construction 5 Taste 4.75 Overall 4.8
