Por Larranaga Petit Corona

Name: Por Larranaga Petit Corona

Size: 129mm x 42 ring

Appearance/construction: no veins to speak of. A bit oily, although more oily would be better. Not light, not dark, but a beautiful caramel (note foreshadowing) color

Burn: right on. Needed to refire at the end, but I take full blame for that.

Draw: absolutely perfect.

Aroma: ahhhhhhhh. I want my office to have 68% humidity, and smell like this. I would relish going to the office.

Flavor/Taste: mouthwatering caramel. As boxdoctor pointed out to me, not like the 2002 and before PLPCs, but good nonetheless. I don't know if they changed the blend or if they just don't put as much care into them any more. One of those rare smokes where the intensity of the draw can affect the flavor. Marvelous.

Overall: Buy all you can, even if you take out that second mortgage.

This has become my regular cigar. When it's on, it's as smooth as smoking honey through a hookah (insert your own joke here). I am now an official PL whore. Too bad they're so damned hard to find. Hopefully in my trips to Europe this summer, I can snag a box or ten.

Of course, you must check out Aizuddin's take.
