Pinar Habanitos
This is a blanket review of several Habanitos. The Pinar Habanito is a budget cigar made from the mixed filler and, yes, scraps left over from the pre-embargo tobacco after the long filler 3000's and others were rolled. Before you get excited about me saying "scraps" - let me say that I've never had a singe burn issue with these and also that they cost around two bucks a stick, give or take. How else could you possibly afford to smoke pre embargo tobacco as a yard gar?
I love these Habanitos. Too much to let you guys in on them, for fear of the finite supply dwindling. But I love youse guys so what the hell. I buy the Habanitos by the sampler pack and I never know what I will receive, as far as looks. My favorites are the very dark ones. Yes I know that there were no Cuban maduros, especially in the claro-crazy fifties - but leave the tobacco in a the middle of a bale long enough and some of it will soak up oils and ferment more and darken. I just had a very dark and oily corona sized Habanito and it kicked royal ass. A two buck cigar. For those of you who don't like Pinar or Paul - good for you, you won't be buying my Habanitos. For the rest of you, give them a shot. BTW - The Pinar Fidels are even cheaper, with Ecuadorean tobacco wrapped with the pre-embargo wrapper. These are also very good. BTW BTW - Bughunter, the unlabelled cigar that I sent you as your "mystery cigar" in the contest that you won from me was a Habanito.
