I am a big fan of SG Navy Flake. Always a great smoking experience.

Mike, how would you compare the SG Navy Flake to the MB Navy Flake? I really like the Mac Baren

Quote:
- Virginia, Burley, cavendish blend - flakes are consistent in size and shape - packed in the tin dryer then SG - rubs out easily into a nice ribbon - stays lit well - it is a lighter tasting blend compared to SG SGNF - Virginia, Latakia blend with a rum casing - flakes are inconsistent in thickness in the tin, consistent in 500 g box. - packed very wet requiring drying time - requires some extra effort when rubbing out to a good ribbon. - I prefer to smoke this tobacco by folding and stuff packing method. - Flavor profile is stronger tasting then the MB. - Room note is Smokey due to the Latakia. - it requires some relights, drying out helps.

Thanks Mike, I knew there were reasons why I like the MB over the SG
