The 173rd Humidor Seasoning thread !

Hey Guys,

I really hate to pile this question on, but I've read them all I think, and really looking to see if someone's had a similar experience.

Purchased a 150ct from Cheaphumidors.com, looks great, etc. However my question is this. I've had a sponge soaked with distilled water on a tupperware lid in this thing for about 30 hours now, and my digitals (salt tested/calibrated/stolen from my other two humi's) are already reading 79%. I'm thinking that this humidor lived in a warehouse in Orlando for a bit and was naturally seasoned. I don't mind waiting (ok, a little) but I'm afraid I'm going ravage this thing w/ moisture. I've got 65% RH Beads on standby.

Thanks in advance.
