They're quite tasty if one mixes some sweet potato into the mash.

Baked Atlantic salmon tonight along with organic sweet potato and a garden salad. Simple and satisfying.

K's birthday today. She wants Wendy's and chocolate something for dessert. She hasn't been very enthusiastic about celebrating today.

Don't often pair ribs with cheese.

last night... t bones were on sale so it was t bone, carrots braised in honey and purple potatoes pan roasted in duck fat... purple potatoes and I don't get along at all

tonight... sooner maybe later it will be choucroutte garni... the smell of onion and garlic cooking in duck fat was so good... I cured the ribs in salt and brown sugar over night... bratwurst, knockwurst and smoked kielbasa plus a smoked pork chop were added about an hour ago. It is almost ready... early tastes and smells say I got it right... used gin in place of juniper berries

there is a superb cali dry Riesling ready to accompany this

Last night being V-day I made a dish of seared Cobia in a coconut milk/water broth flavored with lemongrass with Patagonian scallops residing under the surface

Wife was a very happy girl

Leftover supermarket chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and broccoli. King cake for dessert. Thawed a pound of bulk Italian sausage and a pound of ground Chuck. Haven't decided yet what I'm going to do with them. That's tomorrow's job.
