Turkish Coffee
Just had my first ever Turkish coffee, thanks to a bag of Turkish coffee given to me from Nuredin, my good friend at work. Boiled the coffee with sugar in an traditional ibrik (also a gift from Nuredin) until it foamed, backed off the flame, and repeated this several times. The coffee isn't as strong as I thought it would be - I think it's the sugar - is flavored with cardamom. Very tasty but I'm beginning to think I shouldn't have fixed this at 9:00 at night... Woo-woo-wooo.....
