Connecticut Broadleaf

I've been on a CTBL kick lately and just purchased a box of Pete Johnson's Casita Criolla. What a great smoke! It's a 100% CTBL cigar, which I didn't know could work (always thought it was just wrapper leaf for maduros). It's not strong, but boy does it have flavor. Full coffee woody notes with lots of smoke and a nice finish.

Herencia Cubana Core by AJF is another CTBL wrapped cigar that is wonderful. Not sure if many of you enjoy the flavor profile, but give it a try next time you're in the cigar shop.

if you want them, you better search them out. They are being discontinued. Pete will release them on a very limited basis as a special release cigar.
