New purchase: Janneau Grand Armagnac
Good day good people,
I just wanted to share my recent purchase, I had a wee dram out of it just to sample the taste. It's called Janneau Grand Armagnac, I picked it up for £23 on Amazon UK. I'm not so sure what is actually grand about it compared to other Armagnac drinks, but it certainly is pleasant: a nice delicate flavour with a a slight after hint of spice and sweetness, but these are slight, not dominant, making me think that this will make a lovely pairing with a cigar. I've included a picture of the bottle as it is a rather nice design and I think it will look good as a decorative piece after the liquid inside is finished. I will post an update when I get the chance to try it out along with a cigar. Happy herfing. |

Wow, that's awesome.
I don't think amazon sells booze over here in the states.... *sigh*

hard to ship ETOH across state lines, many states forbid it.
enjoy the new addition to your collection

As I live off the UK mainland, most of the companies either will not ship to the island or add £20 onto the delivery, Amazon UK is one of the few that gives me free delivery so I tend to get quite a bit of my drink through Amazon when I purchase online. I try and shop local as much as I can, but the selection in the local places is limited: fine for malt whisky, but rubbish for cigars (Hamlets or nothing) and very limited for other spirits.
