Camacho Corojo
Overall: 89
The Camacho Corojo is one of my favorites, i smoked it a long wile as my go to cigar until i found PDR. The look of this cigar is wonderful, nice brown color with out any visible defects such as veins or unraveling. the Corojo gets high marks for condition, that said the feel of the cigar was a bit to soft. I expect a cigar to have just a little give when lightly pressed, but this was to much. The aroma of this cigar was earthy with a bit of spice, which i like. A cigar without spice does not seem to taste right to me as though it is missing something. The cut, light, and draw were flawless, and the retro was powerful yet not over whelming. The corojo got high marks in taste and smoke, but dropped in burn because it was uneven and needed touch ups. The ash itself though was white and tight. The sensation the cigar gave me was that of mellow, which is what i smoke for anyway. Some cigars can leave you high in the sense of dizzy feeling. The ones i prefer add to the moment, and help to really take in life by relaxing me, and even helping me to think and reflect, this is one of those.
Next up will be the cigars of 262 starting with the Revere. ( i have another cigar in here that got a 98, but it seems i did not make any notes witch is disappointing.)
