Cigar Literature?
The base is closed today due to the snow. Last I heard the forecast is somewhere between 8-12 inches of the stuff. For this area this amount of snow is huge.
I just got off the road last night after an eight day adventure to the Pacific Northwest. So, I find myself today sitting in my recliner with my worn favorite mug filled with coffee infused with several shots of Bailey's. I'm catching up on all the mail. There are three catalogs from various cigar retailers so I drill through them. Honestly, I normally toss them but I am slowly learning to keep an eye out for that gem hidden within the pages. In my short time aboard CW you guys have taught me snooping and pooping can pay off. I also picked up "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Cigars". Just cracked it open. As I was reading the preface and started on page 1 of chapter 1 a thought popped in my head. I should quiz the CW maggots about other books about cigars. So, beside the posts on here any cigar book recommendations? I also look forward to drilling through articles on Cigar Law and learning about the Cuban cigar industry. Thanks --Dan P.S. My neighbor just returned from a business trip to Havana. He sent me a text while I was in Seattle saying I should stop by when I return. He said he has something for me. My response back to him was "I like the sound of that!" |
