Had to try it.
Well, I got a pipe for my birthday about 10 years ago, tried it once, and hated the taste of the tobacco and it was hard as hell to relax, with me trying to keep it lit, and everything else involved.
I really liked the ease of smoking a good cigar and relaxing after that, no real need to constantly relighting it, but lately I found the pipe. Not sure what it is, but I know it has straight sides inside the bowl, and it looks like a dark wood, but then again I am guessing, it states on the stem that it is made in Italy. Anyway, back to the subject at hand. I want to try it again, and see if it is worth all the trouble. So I read up on how to pack the bowl, and light lit. I purchased some interesting tobacco from a local store(not sure if all tobacco names are universal). I got one flavored tobacco for the hell of it, and 3 others that were non flavored, according to the purveyor, who I trust since I do alot of cigar business there, stated that I got 1 each mild/med, and full bodied tobacco. I am hoping that the tobacco will give me the same taste, as my cigars do. Anyway, I just wanted to jump down into this happy little home and say hi, and I will post my results later. Oh if you cannot tell, I have zero knowledge of pipe smoking. |
