Alec Bradley Medalist Robusto

Alec Bradley Medalist Robusto
52 X 5.00
Box of 10 purchased Oct-06

This is the first cigar out of the box, which has been resting in cooler since purchase.

Beautiful dark brown wrapper with an auburn hue to it. Solid construction with a great draw.

It lit up easily, but BLEEEECH!

Right out of the gate this cigar produce a sharp bitterness and harshness. I thought it might settle in so I kept going. It was no use. I burned almost an inch but it never improved so I pitched it. Just an awful cigar.

I was really disappointed. I had some high hopes for these which is why I let them nap so long before breaking into the box. I'm hoping I just happened to pick the one bad egg in the carton. I'll give them another chance.

After I pitched the AB, I grabbed a Cuban Crafters robusto that proved to be quite satisfactory.
