I want to follow-up. Tim from Davis and Son hunted me down today. He called me at work to apologize. This took some detective work as he only knew my first name and vaguely knew about my work. He said he couldn't sleep all night after our conversation, apologized and offered to take the sticks back for credit. I thanked him and apologized over his lack of sleep over CIGARS!

A noble man. If ever in Wilmington, NC, you can shop at Davis and Son with confidence!

We talked about Perdomo products awhile, and I must say after some of his info, I am not sure Nick dyes his cigars. I really don't believe he does, but I know what I saw. I just want to say I would not accuse someone of something like this without clear facts. Does anyone else have any idea why the color might wipe off so easily in this instance? I did try a couple maduro / oscuros today to see if the color wiped as easily. While I could wipe off some color with a lot of effort, I certainly didn't get the staining I saw.

Reviewing was fun. Made me really pay attention to the smoke and "think" about it- usually I just smoke 'em, and grunt, "uhm, good."

Peace,
NDinNC
