As I said in the review, age certainly doesn't hurt them any. T is right about my purchase habits. In the last couple of years my consumption rate has decreased and that has allowed for some aging. I bought 4 boxes of cigars as my Christmas gift last year and I haven't yet smoked a quarter of them.

I've reached the point in my life that I know what I like and keep those in stock. Generally speaking, if a rep or a member gives me a cigar with their recommendation, I will certainly smoke it if for no other reason than it's coming to me with it.

Left to my own devices, I have about 15-20 brands and sizes that I like and keep in stock. I'm not as adventuresome as I used to be. The funny thing is that the domestics that I have tried and liked tend to be boutique brands that rarely survive. The 1492 impressed me tremendously out of ipcpr two years ago. By the time I went to buy a box, everyone was out of them and the company that blended them was defunct.

One very notable exception is Dunbarton. I've known Saka since just before Katrina at the last CW Camp Herf. I almost always enjoy any of his blends, so I will pretty much buy them sight unseen simply because he blended them.
