What Are Your Earliest Concerts/Albums...
Reading some of the posts here has me reminiscing about concerts/Albums from my youth. What are your memories?
My earliest memory as a young boy is my Dad taking me to an outdoor "concert" of Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton. I don't remember much from the show just being with my Dad. My early teens I remember Crosby, Stills and Nash (w/o Young), Brownsville Station, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Foghat, Leon Russell and Black Oak Arkansas. Later in my teens I remember Willie Nelson, David Allan Coe, Molly Hatchet, Hank Williams Jr, AC/DC, Foreigner, Jerry Clower, The Outlaws and countless bluegrass performers. My first albums were Billion Dollar Babies by Alice Cooper and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John. As an adult my concert lists dwindles dramatically, Elton John and George Winston. --Dan Last edited by jeepdad; 02-21-2015 at 06:22 AM. |
