Stoved VA's
Well, I think I'm going to throw in the towel on the Dark Star. I just can't get it cut down small enough to pack, and I can't keep it lit. Seeing as how a few others on here weren't real impressed either, let me ask this: What's your favorite?
Now my understanding is that stoving VA's takes out some of the bite, and mellows the tobacco. Correct me if I'm wrong on that. Other than a more mellow flavor, what are the other differences? Lastly, I've got a couple tins here of Sophisticate, courtesy of Sucol, that look like they will turn out well--I'm a fan of the finely cut ribbon. Anybody know of other ribbon-cut stoved VA's that might be worth a shot? Thanks all.
