Cooling the inside of an Avallo

I've got my Avallo in the living room... and where I live, it gets pretty damn hot in the summer. To avoid paying an arm and a leg for electricity to keep the house in the low 70°, I generally keep the temp around 76° to 78°. The Accumonitor in the Avallo will usually read around the same as the environment, but occasionally, it will be a little warmer (as it is against an outside wall).

Is there any way to cool the inside down without having to adjust the outside climate (outside meaning the rest of the house... not outside outside. lord knows we arent going to see a 70° day until late October).
