Almost enticing enough to make you liqueur lips.

I purchased a 750 ml bottle of Beam Repeal Batch at the local CVS. It seems to be a bit "rougher" than regular JB ( a plus), and it was on sale for the price point that regular Beam should appear for on the shelf ($14). Also, it is 86 proof, rather than low octane 80.

I tried the Black and the Angel's Share and wasn't impressed enough by the flavors to justify the extra expense. I'll have to try it the next time I'm at a decent place. I'm not going to spring for a bottle before I've tried it.
When I can get the BT single barrel for $27/750, it's going to take a lot for me to switch at that price point. I may be a drunk, but that doesn't mean I'm a cheap drunk.
