Had a La Historia By E.P. Carrillo this afternoon. Very good cigar. Followed with a 5 Vegas Cask strength. Not as strong as I thought it would be, but a good smoke none the less. Finished the night with a San Cristobal Revelation that I won playing Euchre. Very well put together cigar.

Heading out to the golf course shortly. I'm taking an Oval maduro, Casa Fernandez Reserve and a Victor Sinclair 55 maduro. Might not enjoy the golf but I will enjoy the cigars.

Had a very old Padilla 1948 Churchill after lunch. One of my all time favorite cigars. Followed with a Padilla Vintage Reserve that was gifted to me some time ago. While a good smoke, not as good as the 1948.

Smoked a Cohiba Blue robusto at lunch today. Good cigar.

Have not heard from Padilla in a very long time. See the Fumas in the CI catalog, but not much anywhere else. Is he still making cigars? I know he wasn't the best P.R. guy or diligent business owner.

As posted on the Villazon at CI thread, a maduro bellicoso. If not the exact same Villazon flavor profile, close enough at a great price.

I heard he sold out some years ago. The latest incarnations aren't bad, but not what they once were.
The Fumas are not very good, compared to what the name used to stand for.

Started the afternoon with one of my favorite cigars, an Epernay boxed pressed churchill. Then a La Aurora Cameroon toro, and finished the day with an AF Classic. Pretty good day for me!
