Humidity problem that was not
I have never had a problem with my humidity in my Aristocrat Mini. I've always kept the humidity at 65% and it pretty much stays right there. After adding all the single drawers, as mentioned in another thread, and adding a whole bunch of cigars, I decided I better salt test my hygrometers, just to make sure they are still accurate.
So I do the salt test, except I forget that the salt test keeps the humidity at 75%, rather than 70%. So, when my hygrometer is reading 75%, I start flipping out. I figured that I've been keeping my cigars at 60% all this time. After two days of running the test over and over again, thinking something was wrong, I found out that something was. Me! I'm happy to report that my wireless hygrometer is on the nose accurate and another small Radio Shack one I have as a backup is 2 points off. And, yes, I know that some of you like to keep your sticks at 60%. I personally have always felt comfortable with 65%.
