CHC XVIII by Crowned Heads Robusto
This cigar has a dark, smooth and oily wrapper. The bunch is firm. The cold draw is a bit tight. Today’s beverage is a Santa Fe Brewing Java Stout.
The first impression is a very smooth medium bodied cigar. There are some honey notes along with an overall flavor of well balanced tobacco. The retrohale is very smooth. The burn is excellent. In the first third the flavor profile remains solid. Some black pepper notes have appeared in the retrohale. The burn remains perfect. During the second third a very light coffee note joins the flavor profile. The smoke is very smooth and plentiful. The ash is solid and the burn remains perfect. Approaching the final inch the pepper notes have migrated from the retrohale to the main flavor profile. This is a medium to full bodied cigar. The construction and complexity are excellent. 9.5/10, Joe Bob says check it out.
