This perfecto was decently shaped and had a few lumps; it looked slightly rustic. The wrapper was a deep brown with an oily finish and a few evenly spaced veins. It wasn't perfect, but looked appealing.

Construction: 8.0
The cigar started with a tight draw due the tapered foot. It opened up after a half inch, but soon became quite tight again. A quick extra clip of the cigar opened it up dramatically and the amount of smoke was large. The burn was pretty straight until the last couple inches where it needed a quick touch up, and was fine after. The ash was soft but acceptable.

Taste: 8.1
We started with a strong pepper taste and quickly faded to a flavor of robust wood with light spices on the finish. After a inch it moved to a wood and herbal tea flavors with a sharp cinnamon taste on the finish. These stayed for the majority of the cigar. The end of the cigar became just a hint harsh, but nothing too bad. The flavors weren't overly refined but still enjoyable.

Notes:
This was a nice cigar overall, but not perfect by any means. The construction was solid and so was the taste. I wouldn't mind having more of these from time to time, but I can't see this being added to a regular rotation.
