I've decided I'm screwed, as are the family members
Well based upon my readings here I finally took the plunge a few weeks ago. Roaster, burr grinder, French press. Honestly haven't used the French press much recently as I am out of town currently visiting family. I did however bring a couple of pounds of freshly roasted beans with me.
I figured out not only was I ruined but all the coffee drinkers in the family were as well when we ran out of the beans I had roasted and had to move on to what I and other family members considered "good" coffee. Sorry, don't cut it. Nor does any coffee we find in eating establishments or other places. Guess a thermal carafe is in order to take along with the (yes I admit it) salt and pepper grinders we take with us everywhere we go...  Thanks folks...   J.
