Wankel Cigars

Some years ago I received a 5er of cigars from the crankmeister himself, the inimitable Walt Wankel. Maybe some of you other old timers have too.
To my surprise they were special banded cigars from Walt's private stock! I haven't smoked them because when I see them in the humidor it brings a smile to my face.
I had some bands of my own made once. But the sheer creativity of Walt's bands are really amazing!
I decided that it was time to take some pics. A couple of the cigars are looking a little dog eared. Time to smoke them.

First up is a pair. 'Rasslin Lesbos and La Fetishe. The first is self explanatory from the image. The second...well, Walt does like a pair of finely formed feet.

Second up is Rev. Butts. I really love this one. Lots of detail!

Smoking Nipple.

Last is of course, a Double Corona.

BEAUTIFUL!! You need to frame the bands Make some wooden cigars to glue them to. They are too cool to lounge in a drawer or fish bowl.

Oh, he'll, I got one too. Straight from the

"Wankel nose finger cigar company"

The little Willy, the wankel big chief, I have them stashed in tubes somewhere. I kept the shipping box as he had decorated it too. It's on a shelf in my office where I can see it.

Yeah, that's why I've kept them on the cigars. I'll think of something.

I still have a couple that Walt sent me in 2006. Time to dig them out.
