Thats a decent looking box. If it hold humidity well, it's a good intro to cabinets.

Nah, it was certainly refinished, and not so well.
If you look at the picture with the brass lock, you can see the outside finish of the humidor, the finish on the edge of the door, and the inside finish of the door. You can plainly see that the outside, and edge of the door have been polyurethaned or refinished. The inside of the door retains it's original patina. You can see the urethane on the brass lock as it pools at the bottom of the hinge !! With the flash, I agree, it is hard to tell what the finished product looks like |
