5 Vegas is a house brand of Cigars Int'l. CI is a distributor, so they do show up in some retail shops (marked up a bit, too).
Also, shipping cigars gets around some state taxes. Buying from the B&M's in Chicago is painful... city, county and state tobacco taxes raise prices a bunch. And that sadly makes mail order attractive. I've found that asking the staff and regulars at the B and M can get you solid recommendations on value lines, too. They probably have something for every budget. But stocking up on a box or three from time to time to hold you over the famines, not a bad idea.
