I have a temperature probe just outside of the drum, so I really don't know what's going on inside the drum. I'm fine with that, but if it's windy outside, the temperature is difficult to hold steady. I can get some great roasts out of the drum roaster, so I'm a happy camper.

I have never used/owned a roaster. From what I have read & heard
from other folks, I believe the popcorn popper does a great job for a
small price. Now the catch is, finding the popper. Once again Mad Dawg
is helping me out.
