I've been listening to my copy of the BBC Sessions disk. It seems to get better and better.
I've heard that Stevie Ray Vaughn (THE very best-may he rest in peace) listed him as an influence. He predated SRV by about 10 yrs. and some of their music sounds very similar, but maybe that's a stretch. The good ones die young. I didn't learn about him until after his death. And I still miss Stevie Ray. "Pick up on it." (Webb Wilder.)
